DOULA/PREGNANCY & BIRTH SUPPORT/BIRTH EDUCATION
A doula is a non-medical caregiver during pregnancy, labour, birth and the early post-natal period. As a birth doula, I will normally visit you for approximately 3 antenatal appointments, your labour and birth and 3 postnatal visits. A doula specialises in supporting the woman and her family, providing education, non-pharmacological comfort measures for birth and advocacy. Evidence shows that continuous support during labour has favourable results including better birth satisfaction, less interventions, less pharmacological pain management and more. I have a special interest in homoeopathic birth and can bring along or supply kits to enhance your natural birth.

I have been a qualified naturopath in private practice since 2001. I also studied homoeopathy through HERA (Homoeopathic Education and Research Association) including an education program at ML Dhawale memorial homoeopathic hospital in India. I have seen hundreds of patients for various ailments including pregnancy, women's and children's health. Common ailments I may assist you with include skin disorders, morning sickness, chronic pain, menstruation and menopausal complaints, cough and colds, headaches and more.
